Gugulethu Mbatha (better called Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actress and film star who became famous when she was a part of the BBC show "Doctor Who" which is which is a British science-fiction TV series. Gugu gained fame for her role as Tish Jones in the series by BBC. She was the sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. Gugu was destined for an acting career after the audience fell in love with her cheerful spontaneity. She has also worked in several other British television and stage productions till this point. Critics are raving about her amazing performance in the British period-drama 'Belle,' (2013) and the love drama "Beyond the Lights", (2014). In addition to starring in American movies like Tom Hanks' comedy 'Larry Crowne" as well, she was a regular on television shows such as 'Undercover and Touch'. Gugu Mbatha Raw was the lead character as a mistress and actress in Jessica Swale's play 'Nell Gwynn,' which was performed by Jessica Swale. The critics praised Gugu's acting as well, resulting in her being a nominee for an award that is prestigious for the best actress. Gugu received a Member of the Order of the British Empire award (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth II for her outstanding performance in the production.
Chelsea Joy Handler was born on February 25, 1975, located in Livingston, New Jersey. She was one of the six youngest children. Handler was the daughter of a car salesman and a housewife. Her mother, a German-born immigrant to America in the year 1958, was born and raised there. United States since 1958, was born in Germany. Breast cancer was discovered in 1989. Handler died 10 years after battling cancer. Handler's dad is Jewish so she raised to Reform Judaism. Handler lived in a safe area and enjoyed a pleasant childhood. She was just 19 when she decided to move into Los Angeles and pursue acting. Handler started performing to earn money. But, at 21 years old, Handler decided to pursue stand-up comedy full time, as she was able to discover her storytelling talents. Handler's professional career started as part of the all-female Oxygen TV cast in the hidden camera/practical humor reality show Girls Behaving Unstably. This reality TV show was on from 2002 to 2005. The handler then began appearing on other TV shows such as Weekends at the D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a period of time as a correspondent. Handler got her big break in 2006, when she began running her own talk show for E! named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for 2 seasons. Handler appeared on Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the following time in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up shows. In 2010, she announced that she would host the MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. In this way, she became the second woman in history to host the VMA's, following Roseanne Barr.
