Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair for sports early, and discovered her ability to sprint while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Ten weeks after the first trial she took her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix was a senior in high school signing a professional contract with the athletics company Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she studied elementary education. A year later Felix was awarded her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking the world junior record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, she was the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, defeating her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 throughout her competitions in the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
